GOAL: Increase shopping center traffic and sales performance, as well as launch the Easter Bunny photo program (ancillary income).
RESULT: The event welcomed over 1700 families at the first annual event. The Easter Bunny photo program received 50% more in sales than the nearest competition, the shopping center restaurants and foodies tripled their sales for the day, and retailers received varied results, but mostly positive numbers.
Each consecutive year experienced between 15-17% increase in participants and traffic, however, retail and restaurant sales experienced modest growth of only 0.5-2% increase year-over-year during this period. The bunny photo program revenue growth is reflective of the number of event participants.
